People in Honolulu seem know Maharani because of its long-rooted history here – first opening in 2000 as the only location on King Street, near the University of Hawaii. Maharani was established by two brothers and two sisters. The family declares that they use their mother’s recipe and the highest quality of fresh local ingredients. Maharani was their first business venture. As business grew more restaurants were opened in Honolulu under different brand names.
Maharani offers a casual party like setting and the freshest Indian cuisine available. Each day chefs use the freshest ingredients; variety of combination platter and al a carte menus featuring a variety of regional fare and staple favorites, offering a consistency in freshness not found elsewhere.
